About Me

Purpose

As a clinical psychologist, I'm often granted the privilege of admittance into the deep and dark recesses of people's lives. While interfacing with the complexities of the human condition, I've observed that there are a wide range of people who struggle with shame, guilt, trauma, sexual conflict, cultural strife, and the perceived irreconciliation of science and religion. After thinking about these issues for years, I've come to conclude that one of the ways in which unnecessary suffering can be reduced in the world is by helping people to forgo the pursuit of extremes, whether it's holiness or hedonism, and instead, assist people in the pursuit of wholeness. It is my goal to help as many people as possible by extending my influence beyond the confines of the therapy consulting office through my writing. For as little as $1/ month, you can subscribe to my Patreon page titled, Promoting Wholeness in a Partisan World. Also, consider purchasing my award winning self-help journal, The Examined Life: A Journal of Questions and Quotes. It's now available on Amazon. Lastly, check out my YouTube channel, Djehuti . Djehuti is a channel that's dedicated to the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual liberation of Black or African-descended people.  With your support, we can work together to reduce needless suffering in a challenging world.
